How to edit your pages with PatientBase
Creating a New Page
To create a new page, click on the Pages button in the middle left of your screen.
Then click on Add New button on top
It will open up the options for Page, Popup, Folder, and Page Group, and click on Page
That will open up a window with the different designs available as a template for your new page. Everything is categorized into categories, and you can preview each page design.
You can also click on Empty Page to start from scratch or an Existing Page.
To create a page from an Existing Page, select the "Empty Page" button and select an existing page from the "Page Template" drop-down menu
After selecting a template, all you need to do is add the Name and URL for the page, select a Group (folder) used for better organization of your pages and click Add to finish.
Page Restrictions
To access the page settings click on Pages and select the Gear Icon next to the page you want to edit. Select "Show Settings" to open the "Edit Page" window.
In the Page Settings, you can adjust the access levels.
You can have the page:
- Public - visible to everyone
- Password Protected - requiring a password to access
- Members Only - only members of a specific group would have access to that page
Copy an existing page
To copy a page from your existing ones, simply go to Pages -> go on top of the page you want to duplicate and click on the gear icon, then select Duplicate
The duplicated page will then appear at the bottom of the page group it was duplicated from.
Page SEO

To get to the Page SEO, click on Website Settings -> Page SEO
To get to the page SEO of a specific page on your site go to Pages -> go on top of the Page -> click on the gear icon -> Show Settings
It will open up the Page SEO settings where you can add:
- Meta Title - This title outlines what the page is about. It is the page used by Google to show the results page. The orange tracker shows the optimal size of the Meta Title. Make sure you have a compelling sentence with keywords important for the page's visibility.
- Meta Description - a brief explanation of the page of around 300 symbols. Ensure you also include keywords in the description and nice compelling text to make people click on the page when it shows in Google.
- Add to Sitemap - that adds or removes the page from the Sitemap.xml that helps Search Engines to index (find) your page. If the page is still in progress, make sure it is removed from the Sitemap.
- Share Image - used for social media sharing of the page.
